Over the summer, I read the future of by jay asher. And that was my favorite of all the books I chose over the summer. And it was about this teenage girl in high school named Emma, and her friend Josh who lives next door. And josh one day brings iver a disc containing the aol download, which was new because computers were still very new technology. And they come across this site called Facebook. And they see themselves and their friends fifteen years in the future. That causes Emma to want to change the way she does things in the present to change her life in the future, to try and craft it how she wants it. And she lands up never being happy with the changes, and towards the end realizes that she should worry about the present. And let the future workout itself. Which taught me as a reader to appreciate the present moment, and enjoy things while they are there.
