Amulet book 4

In Amulet the protagonist Emily, has had her wish granted to try and join the guardian council. But realizes that the council isnt what she thought it was, and if she looses in a batlle simaler to the hunger games she won't be killed but turned into stone for eternity.

Red pyramid

I currently finished reading red pyramid by rick riodan, which was overall very interesting book. That involved Egyptian backgrounds to all the characters,  such as the protagonist carter and his sister sadie. Along with incorperating  magic which made the staory very amusing.But also having a solid plot of adventure,  and  their family background. So overall a great book, and I highly recommend it.
