I believe in ice skating, because I believe in having a place to get away from all the troubles around you. And stay there till you get ready to face reality again. And are redy to put 100% into the coming week. And then on the weekend do it all over again.Ice skating is something I realy enjoy doing, and it is my little place i can go to to escape the crazy world for a few hours. And everybody has genius level talent, they just have to find it turn it into a hobby or career. And once you find what your genius level talent is you are on a road to sucess. It may take years to find your talent but everybody has it,This i believe.

Revolt Of The Evil Fairies
Noah Sorensen

“Revolt Of the Evil Fairies” E.L.A
In this short story revolt of the evil fairies, by Ted Poston
the author explores identity, as in who you are and what you look like, and
where you’re from. The protagonist is learning to accept that he is black, and
because of that he is not experiencing the same right that lighter skinned are,
and we follow his journey of trying to be prince charming in his school play at
Booker .T. Washington Colored School.
Throughout the story the narrator wishes that he could be
“Prince Charming” in the play and have a different role than in the past plays
of being the lead evil fairy. He has been wanting the role of “Prince Charming”
for the longest time, and as the result of him being African American he has
never gotten the role. This was proved in the text when it said “first there
were the selection of the good fairies, and the evil fairies. This was very
important, because the good fairies wore white costumes and the evil fairies black.
And strangely enough the good fairies always seemed to be really light in
complexion, with straight hair and white folk’s features. On rare occasion a
dark skinned girl maybe lucky enough to be a good fairy. But never one with a
speaking part.” This teaches the reader that people have these rules that
hinder the ability of the person, in this case the protagonist’s ability to
play the role in the play. And because of the protagonist being hindered the
narrator to become so desperate to be in the play that he changed himself for
the play by trying to make his skin look lighter so that he would have a better
chance at the auditions by using his sister’s complexion lightening cream. This
really showed that he was very passionate for the role. Because most people
would have said “well I am disappointed that I didn’t get the role but, I’ll
try harder next time or maybe this role isn’t the role for me”. The protagonist had a choice and he was
running out of options, and when he saw the lightening cream he put 2 and 2
together and decided that he was going to except who he is and move on because
he can’t change who he really is.

final post on alex rider eagle strike
I just finished my book Alex Rider Eagle Strike, it was a very good book that really kept me flippng through the pages. And I was happy that it incorporated problems with fimilar characters, that weren't fully resolved in previous alex rider books.another thing in the book involved fimilar characters which really made it easy to get the gist of this book. And not only were there old characters it had new ones which added a lot of danger to Alex Riders missions. And added to the list of his near death incounters. This is definitly a series that i will continue to read.
