Danny The Champion Of The World

Noah Sorensen

My author reveals that Danny and his father as well as the towns people are not as innocent as they appear. They are really just as sneaky and slimy as everyone else. I know this because towards the very end of the book when Danny and his father poach all of mr. hazells 200 pheasants the nieghbors assisted Danny and his father. And they all run this big pheasant operation, which is the best way to describe it because evrybody has a job and knows what to do, and when to do it. This one lady has this shed were the men set a time where they drop off the pheasants, and she distributes them to whoever she is told to buy hiding under the stroller with a baby on top. And the most interesting part is the sherriff operation even though its against the law. Thats how the author shows that the characters in the book have a very decieving outside.

danny the champion ofthe world

I'm currently reading Danny the champion of the world by Roald Dahl.  This book is about Danny and his father.  They lived in a gypsy caravan behind the gas/mechanic station the Father owns.  Danny is never with friends from school because he enjoyes hanging out with his Father better, and the big event occuring so far is the father reveals to Danny that he poachs the rich man who lives up the roads pheasents.  Lot of the men do it.  And one night he gets caught in a traped that is used by the guards to catch the poachers.  Danny realizes that something is wrong and goes out in the car they fixed at the shop to find his father.  He goes into the woods and finally sees his father in a pit, and he takes rope from the car and pulls his father  out. and the father hops to the car, using danny's shoulder as a crutch.  This was such a good part of the book it had me at the edge of my seat literally.  The main idea is that you don't always have to be with friends, you can be with family or alone.

The book "The Trouble Starts at 8" was a very good book written by Mark Twain ,who told the story of his life growing up and what he went through to become known as the person we know him as today.  Before I go into big details about the story.  The title "The Trouble Starts at 8" is not talking about Mark Twain getting in trouble at 8 years old.  It's towards the end of the book his story he tells in theaters was called "The Trouble Starts at 8."  This made him famous.  He told thousands upon thousands of people but all before this he was poor, and started to learn the Mississippi River, turn by turn, by heart.  And the money that he made, he used to move and start his career of literature.  After all his struggles at the end of the book, he became the legendary writer Mark Twain.
